Our Clients Include:

Aegate Ltd

Aegate EPG has been working with Aegate, a PA Group company, on a pilot study that uses RFID in the dispensing of medicines. This study is a milestone in the responsible use of RFID technologies to protect patient safety without compromising patient privacy. EPG conducted a privacy impact analysis of the proposed system, recommended suitable controls, and developed a privacy code of conduct to ensure that all stakeholders understand their responsibilities for protecting patient privacy and act accordingly.

Department for Work & Pensions

EPG has conducted a preliminary data protection systems audit for the Department for Work & Pensions (DWP) Information and Analysis Directorate. Our report concludes that the systems of Information and Analysis Directorate are compliant with the requirements of the Data Protection Act. It recognises the considerable work that has gone into ensuring the standards are met and how these have led to real improvements in privacy. This has not been a simple paper exercise. For example, security has been improved by moving key parts of the directorate to a building with swipe-card access to add strong physical security to the considerable technical security also in place.
