An Advisory Panel, appointed by the Enterprise Privacy Group, will meet regularly to advise on privacy issues and the future development of the Group. Current Advisory Members include:

• The London School of Economics Department of Information Systems

Observers

Key organisations can contribute to Group activities as observers. The Information Commissioner’s Office has taken up observer status. The Commissioner’s staff can attend Enterprise Privacy Group meetings to contribute their expertise to discussions/initiatives and to explain the latest initiatives and news from their office.

Special Advisors

The Enterprise Privacy Group appoints Special Advisors to provide technical and commercial expertise:

• Lord Northesk is actively engaged with the development and appraisal of key privacy-related legislation;
• Simon Davies is widely acknowledged as one of the foremost privacy experts in the world. He is the author of several books and more than a thousand articles on the subject.
