EPG Workshop Joining Instructions - 14th March 2008 |
Wednesday, 12 March 2008 |
The next EPG Members workshop will be held on Friday 14th March at 2:00pm in the Shaftesbury Room (401) of the Institute of Directors, 116 Pall Mall, London SW1Y 5ED. We plan to discuss the 'Business Case for Privacy' as part of our broader research into this area. However, it's also been a busy week for the National Identity Scheme, and this merits our attention. We will be hearing from Dr Edgar Whitley of the London School of Economics on "Perceptions of government, surveillance and privacy: the UK Identity Cards Scheme." In a change to our schedule, we will then be looking at the consultation component of the IPS 2008 Delivery Plan, with a view to forming an EPG response to the questions therein. If time allows we will then move on to discussing the principles of our work on Business Case for Privacy and seeding that particular programme. The meeting will close by 5:00pm, and be followed by drinks in the IoD cellar wine bar for those that wish to join us. Please remember that the IoD enforces a dress code (no jeans, trainers, t-shirts). All materials you require will be provided at the meeting. No Comments | Views: 334 |
